CAN ASIYE BE SAVED? (Asiye Nasil Kurtulur)

The President and several members of the Association Against Prostitution pay a visit to the brothels in Sirinkent, as a result of a letter which they have received from a prostitute named Asiye. The letter was a complaint about the inadequacy of the advice given in the booklets distributed by the very same Association. The members are astonished to discover that Asiye is alone and friendless. Moreover, each girl has more or less been through similar experiences to Asiye's. They decide to stage Asiye's life for their visitors.

Ilyas is a truck driver working on the construction site of a dam. He meets a village girl named Asya by chance and they fall in love and get married. Their love, however, does not last long. Ilyas starts drinking and as a result he loses both his job and Asya's love. The situation worsens and Asya takes her son and leaves Ilyas. She soon runs into trouble but luckily meets Cemsit who helps her. A relationship begins to develop between Cemsit and Asya. But one day Ilyas returns and Asya then has to make a choice between the two men.



MY DREAMS, MY LOVE AND YOU (Hayallerim Askim Ve Sen)

Ever since his childhood days in the orphanage, Coskun has been in love with the famous film actress Derya Altinay. Coskun's dream has been to write a scenario in which Derya would play a completely different character to the stereotypical ones in her films. Then Coskun finds a way to meet Derya and writes a dreamy love story. The film is completed, but it (and Derya's performance) turn out differently from how he imagined.

O BEAUTIFUL ISTANBUL is a bitter-sweet comedy about the chance friendship between a failed but wise street photographer and a naïve peasant girl who has run away from her village and come to Istanbul to become a movie star. When naivety meets wisdom in the big city, two destinies are reshaped. Together they learn some important lessons about life, which takes on an optimistic hue for them both.

Serap, a young actress with a strong, lively personality and a special dislike for middle-class family life, takes part in a TV-commercial for a recently marketed shampoo, "Belinda". She plays the role of a typical housewife called Naciye. During one of the rehearsals, she suddenly finds that the stage has disappeared, the crew has vanished and all the elements of the script have become real. Now she is Naciye. No one around recognizes her as Serap anymore. Even worse, her 'family' thinks that she is suffering from depression, while Serap desperately tries to prove otherwise.


VASFIYE IS HER NAME (Adi Vasfiye)

A young writer anguished because he finds nothing interesting to write about, strolls through the streets of Izmir. He comes across a series of posters of Sevim Suna, a local singer. She intrigues him and he stops to wonder who she is. At that point a man comes up to him and says that her name is "Vasfiye". The stranger begins to tell her story. As the young writer listens he finds himself transported into different versions of Vasfiye's life.
