SHORT FILM MAKING WORKSHOP
The workshop will start on Saturday 23 October at 6pm
in the Rio Cinema basement. The workshop will be run by Nuray
Sahin and Huseyin Karabey and is open to everyone (16 years
and over) and is free of charge.
The workshop will take place at the Rio every evening during
the festival. Each session will last around two hours. The
story for the script will be discussed among participants
and the script will be written by them during the workshop.
Following the shooting and editing, the finished film will
be shown before the Closing Gala film Turtles Can Fly on Thursday
4 November at 20.45. The copyright of the film will be held
by the London Kurdish Film Festival and it will be available
to be shown in other festivals.
